Growing a Greener Future: Our Commitment 🌱

At Plantish, we’ve always believed that creating a beautiful home should also help create a more beautiful world. Our brand was born from a love of greenery, art, and the calming presence of nature but just as importantly, from a belief that businesses should tread lightly and give back generously 🌿

Since founding our little plant-inspired corner of the internet, one thing has become very clear to us: sustainability isn’t a trend. It’s a responsibility. And as Plantish continues to grow, we want the planet to grow with us. That’s why we’ve committed to donating 1% of all profits to One Tree Planted, an incredible non-profit organisation dedicated to global reforestation. Every time someone chooses a Plantish cushion, rug, faux plant or canvas, a portion of that purchase helps plant real trees in places where they’re needed most. Together, we’re helping re-grow forests, rebuild habitats, and support communities worldwide.

But our sustainability journey goes far beyond charitable giving. Behind the scenes, we intentionally structure Plantish to be as gentle on the environment as possible. Many of our items - our art and apparel - are printed or produced on demand. That means less waste, fewer surplus products heading to landfills, and a slower, more thoughtful production cycle. Our artificial plant collection is held within UK warehouses, helping reduce transport emissions and keeping delivery times speedy for our customers.

We also try to keep things simple and kind in our everyday operations: embracing an entirely remote team, staying as paperless as possible, and prioritising products designed to last. Even though our faux plants are made from plastic, they’re crafted to be timeless, durable and stress-free - a long-term alternative to constantly buying replacements for live plants we may sometimes struggle to keep alive. For us, sustainability is a mindset as much as a practice.

What makes One Tree Planted such a natural fit for us is that their mission resonates deeply with our own: reconnecting people with the beauty and importance of nature. Their reforestation projects span continents, restoring ecosystems, protecting biodiversity and supporting communities.
